Lauren Wall, an ACA qualified accountant is set to speak t “Buying and Selling Businesses” at the forthcoming Accountancy Matters WhatsApp Group meeting, sponsored by Friel Stafford, which takes place at the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone on Friday, 27th February.

Lauren is ACA qualified and has been running the Friel Stafford Corporate Finance Team since 2023. She has assisted with selling businesses with a value of €300,000 to €20 million.

She has also acted as an independent Expert providing assistance on valuation matters in the High Courts for Family Law matters along with Shareholder disputes

She applies multiple valuation methodologies and creates transparent, defensible valuation models that withstand technical and commercial scrutiny.

She has completed valuations across a wide range of sectors, with significant experience in healthcare and professional practices, where factors such as list stability, payer mix, and staffing structures are central to value.

Lauren is experienced in applying multiple methodologies, including Future Maintainable Earnings, Discounted Cash Flow, Market Comparables, and Net Asset Value. She is also skilled at preparing sensitivity analyses that help clients and buyers understand the impact of key drivers on valuation outcomes.

Her reports are recognised for being clear, transparent, and defensible; attributes that are critical in both negotiations and governance forums
