Rosie O’Neill, Director of Sustainability, at IFAC Sevices has been confirmed as a key note speaker at the second meeting of the Accountancy Matters WhatsApp Group, sponsored by Friel Stafford, which will take on Friday, 22nd August 2025 at the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

The WhatsApp group was founded by Nuala McGowan, ACA, CPA, AIA as a resource for Accountants, Auditors and Solicitors to discuss issues in the world of accountancy and finance.

The platform has 99 active and like minded members who discuss a wide range of topics that they come across in their professional lives.

Rosie holds a doctorate in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from Teagasc and University College Dublin (UCD), and a BA in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin. She previously served as Sustainability Manager at An Post before joining ifac in 2024. Rosie brings extensive experience in agricultural GHG emissions, logistics and transport chains, supply chains, sustainable infrastructure, and corporate sustainability reporting.

She was named ESG Champion of the Year at the IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2025. This prestigious accolade recognises Rosie’s outstanding contribution to advancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles both within our firm and across the wider Irish business landscape.
